DROP THE MIC
RAISING THE ROOF AT THE MUSIC HALL
We can’t help it, we just have to keep topping up our events! For Q3, Product Support brought the house down by bringing everyone to the Music Hall! Yes we reserved the whole venue for our townhall and Q3 Rewards and Recognition.
And this is where the excitement began:
Our very special guest is none other than our PS-VP Chris Karp and our Director for Support Operations Michelle Forber. They don’t have a clue how things will unfold but they are as excited as we are. While everyone is having their appetizing dinner/breakfast (with us, in night shifts meal categorizing is tricky.. we just eat, actually) that Music hall served, our PS Rock band: Yuri’s Revenge played to add some electric energy to the already hyped crowd.
Chris Karp started the Townhall announcement, followed by Michelle Forber’s welcome talk.
The Rewards and Recognition Q3 awardees were given framed certificates and GCs. By this time people are aching for the mic! Music Hall had a different set up for their videoke, singers will have to come up on stage, view the lyrics on the screen facing the audience! Feels like having your very own concert.
Guess who had the drop the mic moment? Our VP Chris! He sang with our the boys to the tune of “I want it that way”, yes people he sang Backstreet boys, much to our delight and surprise and he was so game about it and enjoyed himself. Of course singing comes naturally to us, so the girls went up on stage and sang their hearts out, Michelle can’t help herself too, she went onstage and sang her jam! The crowd roared as our director Paul went up on stage with Yuri’s Revenge and rocked the day!
More singing followed and Chris is enjoying himself too much that when our Payments rep (who was also announce by Chris as the videoke king) Rex Camanay invited him for a duet he obliged, unbeknownst to him that they are going to sing a Filipino song Luha. He gamely sang it anyways.
The program ended with people wanting for more. So we committed to have a more exciting, rewarding event in store for all Product Support employees to enjoy! The Leadership team in PS believes that if people feel that they are appreciated, they will always do more than what is expected.
